*** For each additional day beyond your booked hunt,
you should add an additional $175
per day. None of our hunts exceed 3 days
unless other wise arranged. ***
**** If you book hunts
with us where more than 1 state is involved those hunts
are booked as separate hunts and the above $175 per
day is not valid.**** Example: A 3-day hunt in Kentucky
would cost $450 and a 2-day hunt in Indiana is $350.

Kentucky Spring Youth Turkey
- To Be Determined for 2010- Youth under the
age of 16. State regulations support a 2-bird limit,
1 bird can only be taken per day. Our hunts begin before
day-break and will run to dark if that is what it takes.
We utilize many techniques and can accommodate most
requests made to the hunting style you desire. Dads
are welcome to tag along for the hunt and film the hunt
if you choose to. Early April mornings can be very cool.
You should be prepared for temps in the 20's or 70's
Kentucky Spring Turkey
- To Be Determined for 2010. Our hunts begin
before day break and will run to dark if that is what
it takes. We utilize many techniques and can accommodate
most requests made to the hunting style you desire.
We can call for you or you can call if you desire. This
hunt usually books up by mid-January so we recommend
talking to us as early as you can commit to dates and
deposit requirements.
Indiana Spring Turkey
- To Be Determined for 2010. 1-bird limit. Our
hunts begin before day-break and will run to dark if
that is what it takes. We utilize many techniques and
can accommodate most requests made to the hunting style
you desire. We can call for you or you can call if you
desire. We hunt mainly river bottoms and corridors with
a good concentration of birds.
Illinois Spring Turkey
- By permit drawing only. Last Deadline to apply
is early March. To apply go to http://dnr.state.il.us/
and click on the Hunting link. Here you will find links
to download and print the application forms. Due with
your application is the permit fee, which will be refunded
to you if not awarded a permit. We hunt White, Johnson
and Pope Counties if you are looking to use WKO. Those
will be the counties you should apply for your permit
in. The Illinois season is broken into 5 seasons, running
from early April to mid May. We usually target the 4th
and 5th seasons so we are not dealing with henned up
gobblers that is typical of their earlier seasons.
FALL Archery Turkey Hunt
- Kentucky has a 2 bird archery limit, which season
runs from early September to January 20th. The birds
can be either hens or toms. Our leases hold several
large fall flocks. Your hunt will consist of hunting
patterned birds by blind setup. This can be a sit and
wait hunt or a traditional fall hunt where we break
up the flock and call them back in.
FALL Shotgun Turkey Hunt
- Kentucky has a 2 bird limit for the Fall Shotgun season.
This is a combined limit for the split seasons. There
is a October Shotgun season and a second season
that opens in December. The birds can be either
hens or toms. Our leases hold several large fall flocks.
Your hunt will consist of hunting patterned birds by
blind or your typical, against a tree setup. This can
be a sit and wait hunt or a traditional fall hunt where
we break up the flock and call them back in.

I know for Grand Slam hunts. Or give you invitation
on any hunts that WKO may have currently scheduled.
WKO takes trips every spring for various sub-species
of the wild turkey. For 2010, we currently have hunts
for Rio and Merriam Turkeys planned. We hunt Eastern
turkey every year in Kentucky, Indiana and Illinois.
